Hypodematium crenatum subsp. nov. (very large, finely dissect fronds with narrow segments and lobes; short, sometimes sparse hairs; small, rather smooth, rounded spores. I had previously thought this thing was within subsp. loyalii and thus tetraploid; the spores suggest this should be diploid, but it does not match what I had been calling subsp. crenatum and is certainly not like the type of crenatum). On dry, crumbling rocks and small cliff-faces, above toll-barrier.
